“I can always rely on more experienced colleagues to lend a helping hand should I need more clarification on some of the concepts and processes.”
I graduated from the University of the West of England after completing an Accounting and Finance degree. I kept engaged in the university’s recruitment programmes and came across Apak Group at the UWE Employer’s Fair. After having a conversation with the team representatives I headed to the Apak website to find out more. I came across the Junior Business Analyst position and found my analytical skills would be ideal for the role and I would have the opportunity to interact with clients on a regular basis.
During my interview I had a good feeling about the company; the people that I met came across as extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and 3 months into my job I can confirm this is still the case! I have received in-house training that has helped me adapt my own skills into the role and I can always rely on more experienced colleagues to lend a helping hand should I need more clarification on some of the concepts and processes.
Soon after joining the company I was given the chance to be part of a client training session at their head office which was an insightful experience into how Apak Group supports its customers and also into how my role will continue to develop.
The software industry is a very prosperous and exciting environment to work in currently, and Apak is continuously growing and the opportunities available are fantastic. Graduates are able to get invaluable experience in an extremely friendly working environment; it’s an ideal place for graduates to start their career and grow professionally.
